#Dessert Recipe: Buko Pandan





One of the most requested dessert especially during summer season is Buko Pandan.

What makes it in demand in my family, it is very easy to prepare and tastes deliciously good.



Here is the step by step instruction on how to prepare Buko Pandan.

4 cups coconut strips (young coconut)
4 cans condensed milk
8 cups cream
1 pack powdered gelatin buko pandan flavor
10 cups of water
6 drops food coloring (green)
4 cups small tapioca pearls, cooked (optional)

Combine water and powdered gelatine in a big mixing bowl, stir using spoon. ADd food coloring then stir until everything is evenly distributed.

Heat saucepan and pour-in the mixture. Bring to boil while continously stirring.

Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a mold. Allow the temperature to cool.

The texture of the mixture should be firm once cooled.

Combine condensed milk, cream, tapioca pearls, and the young coconut. Mix well.

Chill for 3-4 hours.

Slice the firm gelatin into 1-ince cubes then combine with the combined ingredients.

Chill.
Serve.
