Here’s an essential question. How to make fresh whipped cream at home? It’s as essential as the simple recipe that I have discussed in the article. To prepare that perfect homemade whipped cream, all you need to do is keep on reading.

The mere fact that you’re on this page is enough proof that you can’t get enough of whipped cream. I don’t even keep a count of how many times I make whipped cream at home every year. The recipe is among the very few basic recipes that I turn to most of the time. I won’t be surprised to find out that I can prepare whipped cream blindfolded as well.

The basic recipe discussed below requires only three ingredients and a few minutes. That’s about it!

Just keep in mind to start cold before you go high. This is the only trick that I use during the whole process. And believe me, it does the job! So don’t worry about not having a whipped cream dispenser.

Begin by freezing the whisk and mixing bowl. Keep them in your freezer for not less than 20 minutes. It’s important that they are cold for the procedure. And the same applies to the heavy cream you’ll be using. Even that needs to be as cold as frozen.
Then you bring the ingredients into that frozen bowl. Whisk them together on high settings. Keep at it for at least a minute. At the end of which the stiff peaks start to form. And you know what, you’re done!

No need to test, no need to add anything more. Your fresh whipped cream is ready to be devoured!

But if you want, you can add some flavor to this recipe. Such as vanilla extract, bourbon, or coconut rum. These are excellent substitutes. On a more personal note, I frequently opt for vanilla extract. And the taste is extraterrestrial.

Instead of using sugar, you can add maple syrup or honey as well. Both have a very distinctive flavor that you might find more delightful. In the case of more liquid, make it a point to whip the cream for a longer time. That means a little over a minute. But, at the same time, don’t go overboard. As the paste can quickly turn into butter!

So how about I simplify the process further? Here’s the perfect method of learning how to make whipped cream by hand.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Whipped Cream Ingredients:
·         Powdered sugar (1 tablespoon)
·         Thoroughly chilled heavy cream (1 cup)
Optional whipped cream ingredients (choose any one):
·         Almond extract (1 teaspoon)
·         Ground cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
·         Bourbon (1/2 teaspoon)
·         Vanilla extract, homemade or store-bought (1 teaspoon)

Whipped Cream Method:
1.      Freeze the beaters and mixing bowl by keeping them in your freezer for 20 minutes. You can choose to use either a normal beater or whisk attachment. Whatever is available!
2.      In a large-sized bowl, pour in all the powdered sugar and heavy cream. Blend the mixture on low settings for at least 15-20 seconds. Then increase the speed until peaks start to form.
3.      Now is the time to bring in the optional ingredient. Fold the item using your hand with the help of a spatula. Or you can mix the blend on low settings for another few seconds. Wait for all of it to get combined.
4.      Feel free to serve this freshly prepared whipped cream immediately. But I like to place mine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. And an airtight container seems like the best option for such a task.

Or for something heavy…

Wrap-Up

How to make whipping cream at home using a food processor or blender? Well, you can prepare homemade whipped cream using either of the two. In the case of the former, the same steps are involved. Pulse the powdered sugar and cream until you see the formation of stiff peaks. Add the optional ingredients after that. And it’s the same for the blender. Or an immersion blender!

How about a mason jar? You freeze the jar first, then add the ingredients. Shake the jar like you’ve never shaken it before. For 5 whole minutes! Cause that’s how long it takes for those peaks to become stiff. And once again, add the optional ingredients now.
So I have discussed every method you could possibly opt for. If you have any more that you find incredibly useful, I would like to know all about them.

Thank you for stopping by. Do come back again soon!
