It's November, and the seasons are changing. Cooler weather means we get to spend more time cuddled up together as a family. There's nothing better for family cuddle time than classic family movies!
Whether you like the older classics or a few of the newer ones, you'll find something to enjoy together. So, grab a nice hot cup of tea and snuggle up to one of these great family movies.

During this time of year, plenty of cable channels are putting on your favorite classics. If you don't have cable, never fear! You can stream from an IPTV box too.

Take the opportunity to introduce your kids to some of the movies you grew up with. There are plenty of classics to enjoy, and not all are holiday movies. Here are some ideas to get you started.

8. A Christmas Story
Watch Ralphie learn a lesson about gun safety. Sure, A Christmas story is a bit dated. It aired in the early 80's, but the family humor and lessons are still valuable today!
9. The Karate Kid
No, not the new Karate Kid. This is the 1980's version with Ralph Macchio as Daniel-son. Introduce the original Mr. Miyagi and where wax-on, wax-off actually came from.
10. Alice in Wonderland
Travel down the rabbit hole with Alice in this 1950's classic. It's colorful and unusual. It may inspire your kids to read the classic fantasy novel too!
