DIY: Sequined Button Paper Clips

Image
I have been obsessing in DIY projects lately especially planner related ones. I just love customized cute things, and I love doing it myself because it is fun and relaxing. I recently posted some DIY paper clips I made with the buttons I cut out from old clothes. I also use some cute shaped sequins as a decoration. I posted the photo in my Instagram and Facebook account. Here is how I made them. You will need glue gun, paper clips, buttons and the sequins.

DIY: 2016 Planner On A Budget

Image
#PlannerSeries #Planner2016 #PlannerPh I love to jot down notes and stuff ever since elementary days and had been using spiral notebooks. But when I started working ten years ago, I switched to planners, those generic ones available in National Books Store until last year.  I need a planner to keep my life organized, track things down, combine all my note taking and planning into one system.  Its quite hard not having a planner because I blog, work full time as Virtual Assistant and I'm a full-time mom so a planner is really handy to schedule all my tasks and effectively perform them all.  Sometimes I tend to forget deadlines, important payments, etc because my brain clog at times for I perform endless tasks a day. If that happens, I just look at my planner to get back to track. This year, I never plan to buy new planner, instead I thought to just create one. I am saving up for a lot of things so I crossed out buying a new planner to my list. My hubby offered to buy me o

Organization 101: How to Keep Small Items Organized

Image
How do you keep small items in your home? Specially if it is something you don't get to use on everyday basis and its too small to keep on your drawers. I always avoid small items like pins and clips clutter anywhere in the house so it wont end up missing the next time I need it. Also, having these small items lying around  is never good when you have kids or pets are around.

DIY: Ribbon Paper Clips

Image
Just one cute idea on how to bring your character to your office space or just to spice up your office or school supplies. I made a DIY Ribbon Paper Clips which can be used as planner accessory or bookmarks. I have actually seen this kind of paper clips being sold in etsy and ebay, but why buy when you can just do it yourself, ayt?! That way, you can customize it the way you like to make it more personalized, if that even makes sense. :)

TIME ORGANIZATION 101: Daily Tasks Schedule

Image
My full-time job, taking care of the kids, and at the same time keeping the house clean every day force me to develop two very important survival skills. One is multi-tasking, and the other one is time management. Learning how to balance time is crucial, especially for a mom with a toddler and an 8-year old. It takes a lot of analysis, trial and error, at least for me. I guess there are moms out there who are born with talent to organize everything in place with just a snap, and moms like me will wonder ‘How on earth you do that?!’ I feel the need to confess that it took years for me to be able to cope up with ‘Work At Home Mom’ daily tasks. It was never easy. There are a lot of times I feel failed. I just happened to be so lucky to have a very understanding husband who fulfills duties for me when I can no longer function at sometimes. Our monthly income is just enough for our expenses so we cannot afford to rent any house help for now. We can only count on each other when it

#DIY: Simple and Cute Storage Jars #Upcycling

Image
Those empty jars from your mayonnaise or spreads are some of those I don't consider as trash. I always love collecting them since it can be upcycled and turn it into a chic storage like what I just did.  I have actually filmed a video on how I did this DIY project , unfortunately, it got deleted along with other important videos in my SD card. I hope the photos are helpful enough to see how I upcycled this cute DIY storage jar.

#DIY: Repurpose Empty Jars into Makeup Brush Holders

Image
Do you happen to have empty jars at home like the powdered coffee or creamer jars? I am pretty sure you have, check your kitchen. If you happen to see one or more you can make use of it, don't just throw away. One of the things I love to repurpose are jars like this since there are bunch of useful things you can make out of it. Repurpose , big word. As we all know, repurposing can help reduce waste, save money and cut the environmental costs of making new items.

#DIY: Desk Organizer (Book/Notebooks Holder)

Image
Don't throw used carton box because you can still make use of it. I just like to recycle stuff before thinking of throwing them in trash bins. The positive effect of recycling is you get to be creative plus you did something to help environment. Okay enough said, were all grown ups thus we already knew it. So this is just a simple DIY project of how to turn your used carton box into a desk organizer!

Home Office Organization Inspiration

Image
Some of you might know, I have been working on how to organize my home office eversince late last year. To be honest, I am running out of idea of how I will organize the paper stuff and all the small and big items. I also wanted a small vanity area at my office since I like to fix my face everytime I am feeling so stressed out with my daily activities at home.  So most probably, I am collecting ideas using Mr. Google and looked up on organization ideas to inspire me in designing my home office. And here are some of what I am thrilled of to try getting the idea and incorporate in designing my own home office.

Command: My Damage-Free Hanging Solution

Image
Yesterday, after we went from shopping, I did a little organizing at our bedrooms. I bought two wall clocks for each of our rooms because I thought wall clock is far better option than the small alarm clocks on the tables. You can easily see the time with a wall clock because it is bigger and well positioned on the wall.

#DIY: Recycle and Get Organized

Image
Part of my Organization Project is Recycle and Reuse. Recycle, one creative way to turn a garbage into something usable. Very economical, helps reduce garbage.  So for today's project, I thought to turn some piece of garbage into something useful.  You know the SPAM's can? I thought to turn the can into something useful than to throw and add to the trashes in my trash bin. We can always do something useful to cans like this. Just like what I did!

#DIY: Popsicle Stick Box

Image
I would like to share a DIY project my son made for me. isn't that so sweet? He still has few popsicle sticks from some summer activity plays that we did and he thought to use it for a project. I am glad he is kinda getting interested in doing DIY projects because it allows him to become more patient and more creative. For today, he made a popsicle sticks box. He asked for a little of my help in aligning the foundation which is the bottom, then he did the rest and the designs.
