I am a certified pasta lover. It doesn't mean I know everything about pasta like an expert does. What I meant is I love to eat pasta dishes of any kind to a point that you can serve me pasta dishes everyday of my life and you will never hear me complain. Sometimes, I'd love to think I have an Italian blood running through my veins hahah. But that's just a wishful thinking.grins.
One of my most fave is Carbonara. Here I am today sharing to all of my readers my Carbonara recipe.
4 cloves of minced garlic
2 medium-sized onion
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of creamer
1 can of mushroom
chicken powder mix (optional)
beaten egg (optional)
1/2 teaspoon patis/fish sauce
Melt the margarine on a heated pan,
Saute garlic and onion until cooked.
Put ham and mushroom.
Add dissolved chicken broth. Let it simmer.
Mix in creamer, evaporate milk and the beaten egg(optional).
Put black pepper andsalt/patis (fish sauce). Let it simmer.
Put pasta in a boiling water until cooked. Drain.
Pour on the sauce to the pasta. Serve.
You can top it with chopped parsley and grated cheese.
